Emmanuel Apeh, or “Manolito”, as he is affectionately known by his colleagues and fans, made his La Liga debut against Real Valladolid on January 27, 2019. During the season, Apeh was diagnosed with a cardiovascular anomaly that could have ended his carreer. Manolito fought back against the disease and was rewarded with a debut in La Liga.
