Although Kwateng made his professional debut at the age of 18 in 2015, it was in the 2018/2019 season that he “exploded” in Ligue 1.
Miguel Cardoso placed Kwateng in the starting lineup in the first game of the season against AS Monaco and he held on to the spot for the rest of the season. In 2018/2019, Kwateng had an impressive statistic of 3 interceptions per game – no other player had more interceptions!
